Jon Chiang 蒋樂輝 - Director / Producer

Jon Chiang is an award-winning Chinese-Peruvian filmmaker. Growing up straddling multiple identities, his upbringing has shaped his approach to his films. He’s worked with broadcasters such as CBC, Knowledge Network and TELUS Originals and his films have screened at the Whistler Film Festival, VAFF, AIFF, Reel Asian, VIMFF, and NOWNESS.
Joanna Wong 黄如意 - Producer

Joanna Wong is a Vancouver-born queer Producer with a passion for cross-cultural content. Her award-winning work has aired on CBC, Knowledge Network, AMI TV and TELUS Optik. From 2010-2020, Joanna co-founded and led FLOW, a creative studio in Beijing, China producing original content in English, French and Chinese. Now based in Canada, she is currently writing and producing a 3-part series Seeking Saltwater City for Knowledge Network.

Peter Planta - Director of Photography

Peter Planta is a Filipino-Chinese director of photography based out of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Growing up surrounded by North American culture but raised watching Asian cinema, he likes to bring a multicultural perspective as well as empathy and inclusion to the stories he tells and how he tells them.

Coline Debray - Editor

Coline is a Vancouver based Film Editor and Post Production Consultant. She holds a diploma in Film and Video Editing from 3IS school in the Yvelines.

Her debut feature documentary “Union Street” directed by Jamila Pomeroy, was selected at the VIFF festival and won the “Outstanding Feature Film Director” award at Real World festival 2023 edition. The same year she edited the short movie “Hair or No Hair” directed by Janessa St. Pierre, which won multiple awards including “Best Actress” at LA Shorts 
film festival.

Tiffany Hsiung 熊邦琳 - Consulting Producer  

Tiffany Hsiung is a multi-Peabody and two-time Canadian Screen Award-winning filmmaker based in Toronto, Canada.

She is listed as one of DOC NYC’s 40 under 40. Most recently Tiffany’s work was recognized with two Emmy® nominations for Apple TV series “JANE,” inspired by Dr. Jane Goodall.

Lynn Booth - EP

A graduate of psychology (UWO) and creative writing (UBC), Lynn Booth has worked as a documentary producer for nearly 30 years.

Recent productions include Adhel Arop’s Katiba Banat: Sisters in Arms (2023) and Amy Saeeun Baek’s Glorious Holiday (2022). With a focus on next generation talent, Lynn provides EP support alongside making her own independent documentaries.
